A Work of Art

“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. [Rom 1:20]” Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Have I ever told you what I think of you? Have I ever mentioned what you are to me? Sit down. Let me tell you.

You are a work of art, a gift of the heart, a masterpiece of God. You are a pretty picture, a chiseled sculpture, a solo performance, a scientific wonder, a spectacle for angels, a crown of creation, a diadem in God’s hand.

More than this, you are a living, breathing, loving machine, designed to cultivate and showcase the glories of heaven. Supplied by the Spirit of grace, filled with the love of God, tracing the life of Christ, you make peace abide, grace grow, love happen, and joy overflow. From your hands come gardens of healing, orchards for feeding, and forests of happiness unknown.

You are God’s dream come true, His prayers answered, His hope fulfilled, His fire renewed. You can’t imagine His thoughts or plans for you. If God thinks so highly of you, I can too. There is nothing God won’t do to bless you if you ask Him to. So let’s ask!

God, thank You for bringing a new friend to read this post today! Thank You for making them, for keeping them through life so far, and for all the places You’ll take them from here. You know more about them than I do. Bless them! Bless them with health, peace of mind, and loads of love. Bless their families, their jobs, their finances, and their lifework. Make them a masterpiece in Your hand, and through them bring blessings to all they see.
