It’s late on a Thanksgiving night here in America. Everyone has eaten, and eaten, and some have eaten again. Credits are rolling on the movie, while food is divided up to be taken home or put away. Dishes are going in the dishwasher, kitchens are getting clean. In-town guests have gone home, out-of-town guests head to pullout beds or floor pallets to pass out. This is the American dream every fall. And we’ll do it again next year. We have a lot to be thankful for.
If you enjoyed your holiday, share what you love best about it. If your family does it differently, share your traditions. If you spend yours alone, share what you do instead to keep the day festive and grateful. Or just thank God for the small things in life. They could so easily be gone.
