And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising [Love], and saying, Glory to [Love] in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:13,14
As I think about the Father’s love for us in sending His only Son, today I join the angels in praising and glorifying Love. Truly Love deserves praise for all He has done for humanity. The Scriptures recount time and time again that Love has done an everyday blessing or life-changing miracle on our behalf, many of which were never recognized or recorded. Beyond the Scriptures, history tells of human trials and battles amid some of the worst conditions, and Love stepped in to turn the tide. My own story is filled with similar testimonies and inexplainable victories Love worked out on my behalf. And, believe it or not, so is yours.
As we end the year and head into a new one, let’s take time to review our own life and reflect on all the ways Love has loved us so tremendously. Write your own list and find a way to share it, as I write and post mine. What are at least five things Love has done for you this year? Comment below.
Oh Love, we praise You and glorify You today and this season! Surely you’ve bring peace to Earth and goodwill to humanity. We need it now more than ever. Help us receive Your peace and goodwill into our hearts so we can join the angels in singing and the shepherds in sharing your love.
