The top of the year is a great time to start new things that will carry you to your goal. We’ve agreed God expressed His love in words, one of many forms that can hold and carry love. Another form of love to soak in is creation. High quality, handmade products are powerful little containers. God created the heavens and the earth with His word, yet made human kind with His hands.
I’m going to spend time this year studying God’s handiwork in a few ways. One thing God created that fascinates me is food. Food is love. Imagine this: not only did God love it when he thought of it and when he made it, the farmer loves growing it, the grocer loves selling it, the chef loves prepping it, and you get to love eating all this accumulated love 3 times a day. I learn to understand, appreciate, and respond to love in this form all year long. What a good God He is to create something so all around awesome! I get to eat love for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks! It’s going to be a yummy year!
